  • Living Difference IV: KS3 blank common 'Unit of Study' proforma & blank curriculum maps

Unit of Study blank  proforma for use with Living Difference IV. To be completed for each Unit of Study.

This document ensures substantive knowledge is well sequenced across a single Unit of Study as well as across a Course of Study and across Key Stages. This proforma enables teachers to detail what is going to be taught as well as what it is expected young people will be able to do in relation to the purpose statement, as a consequence of this teaching, at the end of the unit (using the EYEs). This is so young people can 'over time become familiar with the vocabulary and grammar and other ways of expression of those living with a religious orientation on life, or life informed by another perspective' (see p. 8 of Living Difference IV).

Two blank KS3 overview curriculum maps

All schools should have an overview map of what is being taught across a Key Stage. This blank curriculum map enables clear indication of where depth studies are being taught as well as where overview studies are being taught. In addition the key words/concepts for each enquiry are indicated along with the context. This document captures an overview map of how knowledge is sequenced across the key stage.
