The publication of this new pack follows discussion with primary colleagues in order to establish a comprehensive and progressive approach to teaching about Islam across KS2 and KS3.
This pack, which includes material suitable for Year 8 or Year 9, is adaptable for students who have prior knowledge of Islam and for those who have none. It therefore includes two recommended sequences of cycles of enquiry.
Resources for five cycles of enquiry are contained in the pack:
- Islam, Umma, Jihad, Tawheed, Shirk.
