Deep and meaningful? The religious education subject report

    by Hannah Richardson -

The religious education subject report was published on 17 April 2024 and contains some important messages and recommendations for all schools. The full report can be found here:

    https://www.gov.uk/government/publications/subject-report-series-religious-education/deep-and-meaningful-the-religious-education-subject-report

The headlines outlined in the report show that nationally there are some real concerns with RE provision, however, we know that locally Living Difference IV is a comprehensive syllabus which actively addresses the curriculum recommendations outlined in the report.

In response to this report and to continue to provide support to schools the following webinars exploring the report and Ofsted inspection framework for RE are available:

    • Monday 17 June 2024 – 9:30-12:00
    • Tuesday 1 October 2024 – 9:00-11:30

Search and book on the Learning Zone using keyword search: RE report

    Price: Sub £55 / SLA £35 / Full £66 (per webinar)

Please contact us for further information. Additionally, please email Justine for Primary, or Chris for Secondary if you would like to book a half day visit to review RE provision in light of the reports’ findings.
