- Identifying what counts as a controversial topic in RE.
- The legal requirements relevant to the teaching of such issues, (for example Prevent duty).
- How to plan for the teaching of such issues in curriculum design.
- Practical examples of such planning.
- How to support staff in delivering these lessons.
- Accessing and organising resources.
- Sharing best practice.
