Islam Jalaita, Inclusion and Diversity Officer at Basingstoke and Deane Borough Council advises:

The Interfaith Peace Walk is a great opportunity to promote harmony and meet people from different faiths and cultures. It will end with refreshments and a gathering to celebrate different faiths and their input into our communities.

Please gather at Eastrop Park, (convene by the Boathouse), Basingstoke RG21 4QB for a welcome and instructions. We will then walk to the top of town stopping at the Willis Museum, where we will join the Mayor of Basingstoke and Deane Cllr David Leeks at the Proclamation Ceremony at the steps of the Willis Museum at 2pm.

Any time between 2:15pm and 2:30pm, please join us at the Fellowship Education Society Center, 10 Cross Street, RG21 7DG.

The walk will end at the Fellowship Education Society Centre, 10 Cross Street, RG21 7DG where we will have light refreshments and brief presentations by Inter Faith Basingstoke Members and local organisations.
