  • These resources are useful for teachers who are new to the agreed syllabus methodology and form a starting point for their teaching.

    • The concept cycle for children (colour) can be enlarged to A3 and displayed in the classroom: draw the children's attention to it at each part of the cycle . It is written simply enough to be used at KS1 and KS2.
    • Two PowerPoint presentations to explain the cycle to KS2 children.
    • What's the Big Idea can be quickly adapted to any concept. Useful to show at the beginning of the unit and at the start of each lesson to help children follow the cycle.
    • The cycle for children explains the cycle generally; change the order of the slides if you are starting at Communicate.
