How to Manage RE in Key Stage 1 and 2 - 25-26
This course is specifically designed for teachers new to the role of RE manager. It will provide comprehensive guidance to enable participants to develop RE effectively in a cross-curricular setting using Living Difference IV and the Ofsted requirements for RE.

Spring 25-26 Primary RE Networks
These sessions are designed to enable RE managers to explore, share and develop good practice in RE in their schools. The sessions will focus on helping other staff to understand the cycle of enquiry, know the range of concepts in the Living Difference IV syllabus, create and amend planning for RE and help understand assessment issues across the school.
Sessions will cover issues according to the needs of the participants, such as:
- Supporting other staff in school - what is Hampshire RE using Living Difference IV about?
- Developing schemes of work for RE within a developing, integrated curriculum using the golden threads and an understanding of Abrahamic and Dharmic religions.
- RE through cross curricular learning.
- Developing thinking skills in RE, assessing RE and RE's contribution to pupils' SMSC development.
Applicants are expected to attend one meeting each term for one academic year. It is useful if delegates bring their own planning and RE work to the sessions. The meetings will be held within a local primary phase school. The host school will receive one free place at the meetings.

Hampshire & Wessex Annual Religious Education Conference for Primary & Secondary Schools 2026
This cross-phase conference is for primary, secondary and SEND RE teachers and leaders of RE.
The conference is to support teachers to teach RE well with Living Difference IV and to gain confidence in representing what it means to live with a religious orientation on life, in the classroom. The day will include Keynote plenary sessions invaluable for all teachers in every phase of education as well as phase specific workshops and discussion opportunities, including exam board-specific GCSE workshops.
